Professional Organizer New Orleans is seeking to hire part-time lead and assistant organizers to join our growing team.

Location: New Orleans, LA area (typically within a 30-mile radius of New Orleans, LA). Some travel may be included.

Job Details: You’ll be able to work on various projects, apply your organizational skills, improve lives, and help bring order to clients’ homes!

Job Description:

  • Lead Organizer: Manage and complete client organizing projects alongside other organizers and solo. This includes conducting walkthroughs, managing expectations, managing assistant organizers, and ensuring projects are completed to the highest standard.
  • Assistant Organizer: This position involves working with other organizers on various projects. Responsibilities include assisting with organizing, decluttering, and donating clients’ items. It is an entry-level position with growth opportunities for the right individual.
 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • categorize + sort
  • declutter + organize 
  • fold and color coordinate clothing items
  • prepare moving boxes and pack items carefully for a move with packing materials
  • unpack & organize items from after a move
  • Light cleaning and post-project cleanup
  • Drop off donations at local donation centers
 

We are Looking for Organizers Who:

  • Have flexible, day-time availability
  • Have a compassionate, non-judgmental, upbeat,  and positive attitude
  • Are honest, trustworthy, reliable, and on-time
  • Have exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
  • Have a clean, professional appearance and attitude 
  • Love diving into big messes and taking care of small, tedious tasks
  • Are excellent at organizing, folding, filing, color coding, and labeling
  • Have an eye for style, design, and function in the home
  • Aren’t afraid to get their hands a little dirty!
  • Are great at taking high quality photos
  • Can lift up to 30 pounds, bend, reach, and navigate stairs, and have no physical limitations

Part-Time: We employ individuals on a part-time basis, generally averaging 2-4 full days per week. We work seven days a week. 

Earning Potential: Pay is competitive and based on experience. Assistant Organizer’s pay begins at $23/hr. Lead Organizer’s pay starts at $35/hr. Both have opportunities for advancement.
